 Edeltävät opinnot
 Edeltävät opinnot, lisätietoja    Tandemopintoihin osallistuminen ei edellytä aiempia kohdekielen opintoja. Riittää, että
                                   olet kiinnostunut tutustumaan tandemparisi kieleen ja kulttuuriin ja haluat aktiivisesti
                                   edistää parisi suomen kielen ja kulttuurin tuntemusta. Projektiin osallistuminen vaatii
                                   sitoutumista, joustamista ja ajankäytön suunnittelutaitoa.
 Osaamistavoitteet                 Jokaisen tandemparin tavoitteet määritellään erikseen, opiskelijoiden tarpeet ja toiveet
                                   huomioiden.
 Keskeinen sisältö                 Working and assignments (about 80 hours´work)1.Meeting 1 with the teacher: What is
                                   tandem, who works with who etc.2.Make a plan for your work with your pair. Send your
                                   plan to the teacher per e-mail within a week of the first meeting with the teacher. The
                                   plan should be done together with your pair and it should be written in English. In your
                                   plan you should write down approximately how often, where and when you plan to meet
                                   each other, what you intend to do and what you want to learn (which cultural themes are
                                   of interest, what is the role of the different languages in your meetings etc.). Try to make
                                   the plan as concrete as possible (make a weekly schedule), it helps you two to take the
                                   most out of the tandem. You can of course change some of the planned activities if
                                   needed, the main thing is that you have a good plan.3.Feedback and approval for your
                                   plan from the teacher by e-mail /face to face.4.Regular meetings with your pair
                                   (preferably about 1 meeting / week).

                                   Choose your own ways of meeting and learning languages, cultures and professional life
                                   (personal interests, family, hobbies, studying, sports, cooking, travelling, movies, clubs,
                                   sightseeing, newspapers, cultural differences etc.)5.Meeting with the teacher. Discussion
                                   and plans for the rest of the process. Make the appointment with the teacher in

                                 time!6.Regular tandem meetings with your pair. What would you still want to learn and
                                 do? What would you want to show / tell about your own culture and language?7.Write
                                 an essay (Tandem report) in Finnish / in English / in Spanish (3-5 text pages, Trebuchet
                                 11) about your tandem experiences and learning process. Answer at least the following
                                 questions: What have you done during the tandem course? What have you learned about
                                 the language? What about the cultural aspects and the working life? What was your
                                 opinion on this kind of a learning process? What would you have wished more? What
                                 are your future plans concerning the language and the culture you have studied in
                                 tandem? Send the essay to the teacher by e-mail at least 2 days before the feedback
                                 meeting. N.B. Depending on your tandem process it is possible to write this report either
                                 together with your pair or individually. Please, discuss this with the teacher and make
                                 the most of this part too!8.Meeting 3 with the teacher: Reflection and feedback.9.Getting
                                 credits (3) for the project (pass / fail).
 Ohjaus ja viestintä             Tandemiin osallistuvilla on oma Facebook-ryhmä. Lisäksi käytetään sähköpostia
                                 ryhmän yhteisten asioiden viestimiseen.
 Muut toteutusjärjestelyt        Syksyllä on tulossa todella mielenkiintoinen vaihto-opiskelijajoukko: espanjalaisia,
                                 venäläisiä, ranskalaisia, hollantilaisia, saksalaisia, kiinalaisia, tsekkejä...Tervetuloa siis
                                 mukaan kotikansainvälistymään ja oppimaan vaihtariparin kieltä ja kulttuuria sekä
                                 syventämään vaihtarin kokemusta suomalaisesta kulttuurista ja suomen kielestä!
                                 Englannin kieli toimii työskentelyn apuna, joten sinulla ei tarvitse olla vaihtarin kielestä
                                 aiempia opintoja.Tandeminfo 31.8. klo 9.00-11.30, parit päätetään silloin. Voit
                                 halutessasi kertoa erityistoiveesi kielen ja kulttuurin suhteen s-postilla
