Osaamistavoitteet To become more and more fluent in speaking Finnish
Keskeinen sisältö Small talk (colloquial Finnish), studying vocabulary, describing one's home country,
grammar (negative past tense, past perfect, pluperfect, more expressions of time,
adjective comparison), expressings one's opionion - agreeing and disagreeing - , dates
and ordinal numbers etc.
Oppimateriaali Study material can be printed out in Optima at "Intermediate Finnish" work space if you
have enrolled to the course. Master copy is also available in the Laurea Leppävaara
library. It has about 35 pages and is called "Intermediate Finnish". THE STUDENTS
COPY/PRINT OUT THE MATERIAL THEMSELVES. Notice! The study material was
revised during the summer 2013.
Arviointikriteerit ja Grades 1-5. The final course grade consists of: - the results of and oral exam - the results
arviointimenetelmät of an written exam - activive participation during the lessons and - attendance/absence.
REQUIRED ATTENDANCE: 60 % OF THE LESSONS. Full attendance is
recommended, though!

schedule finishes on Monday 9.12.. For exams and the time,
exceptions to the schedule see Optima anyway)

once a week, 2,5 hrs/meeting. We should
be at least most of the time in classroom
