Opintojakson suoritettuaan - to work as a developer of digital media research and development activities -
opiskelija osaa understand the opportunities of User-Centered Design in the field of digital media -
carry out research and development projects applying the user-centered methods - to do
user/usability research applying the ethical norms and standards of research
Edeltävät opinnot
Edeltävät opinnot, lisätietoja Lectures are in English. Most of the exercises and project work (user research for
genuine customer) it is possible to be done in Finnish if the whole team wants it. Only
the presentations to the class are mandatory in the English language.
The course includes practical exercises such as user research or User-Centered Design
project for genuine customer.
During the course, we try to visit or otherwise get to know several Finnish
User-Centered Design companies and professionals.
------------- Kurssin luentokieli on englanti. Suurin osa harjoituksista ja hanketyöt
(käyttäjätutkimus aidolle asiakkaalle) on mahdollista palauttaa ja tehdä suomeksi, mikäli
koko tiimi niin haluaa.
Ainoastaan esitykset koko luokalle tehdään englannin kielellä. Kurssilla tehdään
runsaasti käytännön harjoituksia ja käyttäjätutkimus tai käyttäjäkeskeinen
suunnitteluprojekti aidoille asiakkaalle. Kurssin aikana pyrimme vierailemaan tai muulla
tavalla tutustumaan alalla toimiviin yrityksiin ja ammattilaisiin.
