 Osaamistavoitteet                 To give an overall platform for enabling the understanding and managing of English in
                                   legal and associated situations more easily and successfully. To help to speak and
                                   understand Legal English more correctly and to improve the knowledge of
                                   grammar/vocabulary which helps that objective. To provide a framework to aid
                                   successful coping, interacting and dealing with different situations where Legal English
                                   may be used.
 Keskeinen sisältö                 Two programmes are to be considered within the course; the Hallintotuomioistuinten
                                   and the Oikeusavun. Within these programmes there are various case situations covering
                                   handling callers/clients and associated legal problems. The student should listen to and
                                   improving their ability to understand these various stories and legal expressions, in
                                   English. They should learn the specific Legal English vocabulary for each specific
                                   topic/story. Additionally, continuously learning and practicing Legal English
                                   expressions through listening to Legal English phrases. Also to improve everyday
                                   English grammar should be learnt which will aid professional communication, in
                                   situations where Legal English may be used. Exercises and tests should be used, within
                                   the web based coursed to assist such development. Also a delta alphabet to improve
                                   pronunciation of letters can be used to practice.
