 Opintojakson suoritettuaan        .The course aims to activate students' spoken communication skills in professional and
 opiskelija osaa                   everyday contexts, not forgetting the challenges and possibilities of the virtual world.
                                   Students will practice skills needed for communicating in various contexts, such as
                                   meetings, negotiations, small talk and giving presentations (both informative as well as
                                   persuasive). Nonverbal communication skills as well as intercultural communication
                                   skills will be discussed, too.Students will do tasks individually, in pairs and in teams.
                                   Some tasks will require planning, some will develop the students’ spontaneous speaking
                                   skills.

 Muut toteutusjärjestelyt        Students must have access to a computer with a headset and a camera.Teaching methods
                                 will largely be task-based exercises, group, pair as well as whole class work, involving
                                 e.g. simulations and role plays. Students are expected to be as active as possible. There
                                 will be both contact lessons in the classroom as well as virtual lessons in the teacher’s
                                 AC (Adobe Connect) classroom. The contact days inclass are mandatory.
