 Osaamistavoitteet                 Competence aims and evaluation criteria are directly linked to the Common European
                                   Framework for languages.Many workplaces require English skills of, at least, a B2.1
                                   level according to the above framework. This is equivalent to a grade 3 according to the
                                   Laurea grading system (a more detailed evalaluation criteria, which is directly linked to
                                   the Laurea's grading scale, can be found from the Optima platform for this course).A
                                   student should be able to
                                   ●      communicate orally in workplace and study related dialogues
                                   ●      produce workplace and study related texts
                                   ●      use field and study related vocabulary
                                   ●      be aware of field-related intercultural influences and possibilities
                                   ●      understand the basic of nonviolent communication

                                      completed to pass the course. These will mostly be graded as pass/fail
                                 ●    The final grade from the course will be given based on the aforementioned
                                      criteria as a grade betweeen 0-5. The final grade which will be seen on the
                                      student'scertificate is made up of 50% from the oral evaluation and 50% from
                                      the written evaluation.
