 Previous studies, more information    ●       Student must have completed all basic practice placements in the following
                                               nursing environments Geriatrics, Medical, Surgical, Home care, Psychiatric and
                                               Pediatric placement.
                                       ●       Student must have passed intensive medication calculation prior to start of
                                               placement.
                                       ●       Note that if any of the above has not been fullfilled, then your placement will
                                               need to be cancelled at least 2 weeks before the start of practice placement.
 Tutoring and communication            Practice placement guide and learning contract are found the group´s optima workspace
                                       under the PRACTICE folder.Student will have a named teacher-facilitator to whom the
                                       student should return his/her practice goals by the end of the first week of of
                                       practiceplacement via e-mail. The goals need to be written on the learning contract. The
                                       Teacher-facilitator will visit the student at least once during the 10 weeks of
                                       practice.Each student will be assigned at least one placement tutor during practice
                                       placement. The tutor will evaluate the student's perfomance on the basis
                                       of the objectives that the student has written and will give the teacher-facilitator a
                                       recommendation of PASS / FAIL of the practice placement.

 Other arrangements                    Attendance during practice placement info and reflection is compulsary. Those absent
                                       from either of these sessions will have to make up for the hours in the units.The student
                                       will also give study unit feedback on day of reflection, which is immediately after the
                                       end of practice.Practice placement assignment should be done according to the
                                       instructions given by the teacher-facilitatorAt the end of practice, the student should
                                       upload the signed learning contract to his/her ePortfolio
