                                       Student is able to:
                                       ●     Evaluate andimprove his /her communication skills in patient's / patient's family's
                                             guidance and care
                                       ●     Support the patient / family during the different stages of cricis
                                       ●     work and particapate as well as make dicisions in multidisplinary team
                                       ●     Plan, implement and evaluate the safe nursing care from patient's, staffs' and care
                                             environments point of view
                                       ●     Implement safe medication treatment and know the main medications used in
                                             patient's care.
                                       ●     Observe the patient's condision and the changes in it as well as act accordingly
                                             under guidance from mentors.
                                       ●     Support the patient's & family's selfcare at home by guiding them in useage of
                                             their own strengths
                                       ●     act in a responsible and ethical way in nursing care and environment.

                                 week of the practical placement via e-mail. The goals/ objectives need to be written on
                                 the learning contract (arviointilomake).On the learning contract is the information of the
                                 assessment of the practical placement.Each student should have a nurse mentor named
                                 for the practice on the practical placement. This nurse-mentor will evaluate the student's
                                 perfomance against the objectives that the student has written and will give the
                                 teacher-facilitator a recommendation of PASS / FAIL of the practice placement.
