 Learning objectives                   Educational ideologies, educational consciousness and educational styles are in the main
                                       interest in this study unit. The attention being focused to the alternative ways of
                                       education nowadays such as Steiner, Montessori, Freinet, Reggioemilia, Freire, language
                                       immersion, nature, religion, creativeness, education at home etc. Opintojaksolla
                                       paneudutaan eri kasvatusideologioihin, kasvattajan kasvatustietoisuuteen ja
                                       kasvatustyyleihin. Mahdollisuuksien mukaan tutustutaan ajassa vallitseviin
                                       vaihtoehtoisiin kasvatussuuntauksiin ja –painotuksiin käytännössä. Tällaisia ovat
                                       Steiner, Montessori, Freinet, Reggioemilia, Freire, kielikylpy, luontokasvatus,
                                       uskontokasvatus, ilmaisukasvatukset, kotikasvatus jne.
