11.1.3 LK7038 SUSTAINABLE USE OF WATER RESOURCES (3 ECTS)

Objectives:
The student will understand water circulation and water purification processes. The importance of pure water to communities and industry are studied worldwide. The recreational values, fishing, transportation, and cultural values of natural water resources are also discussed, along the current topics in the research of Baltic Sea region. The course includes the field trip with introduction to the use of modern field analysis equipment.
