14.5.3.5 SH7523 Clinical Studies in Health and Social Sector 4 – 8 CR / 6 – 12 ECTS Credits

Objectives:
To explore different aspects, including experimental ones, of professional practice. To demonstrate growth and development of the professional self.

Content:
Clinical placements in hospitals, health care centres, voluntary organisations, experimental projects and/ or participation in the international projects in Russia ( St. Petersburg area) or Estonia.

Prerequisites:
For 2-3 year bachelor of nursing or bachelor of social students.

Methods:
Individual tutorial support.

Assessment:
Reflective diary, assessment of practice.

Semester:
Period 3 – 4, spring
