11.4.9 SH7523 CLINICAL STUDIES IN HEALTH AND SOCIAL SECTOR (6 – 12 ECTS Credits)

Objectives
To explore different aspects, including experimental ones, of professional practice. To demonstrate growth and development of the professional self.

Content
Clinical placements in hospitals, health care centres, voluntary organisations, experimental projects and/ or participation in the international projects in Russia ( St. Petersburg area) or Estonia.

Prerequisites
For 2-3 year nursing or social work students.

Methods
Individual tutorial support.

Assessment
Reflective diary, assessment of practice.

Semester
Term 3 – 4, spring
