8.1.3 SUSTAINABLE USE OF WATER RESOURCES (3 ECTS)

Objectives
The student will understand water circulation and water purification proc-esses. The importance of pure water to communities and industry are stud-ied worldwide. The recreational values, fishing, transportation, and cultural values of natural water resources are also discussed, along the current top-ics in the research of Baltic Sea region. The course includes the field trip with introduction to the use of modern field analysis equipment.
