Objectives and Content

Corporate security is one of the major responsibilities of a company's management. It refers to the company's total management of security matters in order to create a safe working environment. Corporate security is part of corporate operations, supporting the company's objectives.
Practical security work consists of pro-active and preventive security work in order to control accidents and dangerous situations, loss and criminal activities as well as to create active capabilities for dealing with these situations.

This course has been designed for students to get an insight into the different aspects of managing security and how it is related to facility management. Students will develop an understanding of the basics on how to analyse and assess risks in the security field.
