10.2.1.13 GY2302 Introduction to Statistical Methods

Objectives and Content:
The methodology of the scientific approach serves three major purposes: rules for communication, rules for logical and valid reasoning, and rules for intersubjectivety. These three systems of rules allow us to understand, explain, and predict our environments and ourselves in a manner that other systems for producing information cannot do for us.
Basic elements of statistical research are Mode, Median, Mean, Dispersion, Standard deviation, Correlation, and Regression. That is also the main purpose of this course; to understand these basic elements of statistics.
